Bird Photography Safari

Let's have a 6 hour date in the bush.

Be picked up from your hotel and travel to Livingstone National Park to discover some of Zambia's estimated 750 bird species. With a professional guide, try to spot some of the rarest species of the area, including the Taita falcon, the elusive African Finfoot, the Brown Firefinch, and Schalow`s Turaco. In the wetland and swamp areas, find waterfowl such as herons, storks, ibises, as well as the stately crowned and wattled cranes. If you are lucky, catch a glimpse of Zambia's most sought-after wetland species, the shoebill stork. In drier terrain, learn about the country's only truly endemic bird species, the Chaplin's barbet, with its distinctive red eye patch. Other colorful highlights of birdlife here include Bohm's bee-eater, the racket-tailed roller, and the spotted creeper. After several hours in the park, be returned to your hotel or accommodation.
